A new Lidl for



The proposed store would feature an attractive glazed frontage and car parking area with high quality landscaping. Access to the site would be from

Knaresborough Road.


The new store would extend to 1,919 sq.m gross internal area with a net sales area of 1,263 sq.m.


A total of 94 car parking spaces would be created which includes 6 dedicated disabled spaces, 8 parent & child spaces, 2 electric vehicle charging spaces and 4 staff parking.


It is proposed that the Lidl store will be open between the hours of:


  • 8am to 10pm Monday to Saturday (including Bank Holidays); and


  • 10am to 4pm Sunday.


The store would normally receive one delivery per day. All store waste will be stored internally within the warehouse area and will be collected by the delivery vehicle, therefore minimising HGV movements within the site.
